Montazah Palace is one of the royal palaces in Egypt. Built
by Khedive Abbas Helmy II in 1892 AD. in Alexandria City. The palace is located
within gardens known as "The Montazah Gardens"
The upper family continued to pay attention to those gardens and considered them a major summer resort for the royal family until the era of Farouk I, the last king of the upper family in Egypt... until the July Revolution of 1952 AD. Which opened parks and beaches of the park to the general public. As for the Salamlek Palace, it turned into a luxury hotel, while the Haramlek Palace was opened in the aftermath of the revolution for the masses to visit, before joining the group of the presidential palaces for the residence of Egypt's guests, presidents and kings. And in 1964 AD. A hotel called "Palestine Hotel" was established, overlooking the charming Gulf... to witness the establishment of the second Arab summit hosted by Egypt in Alexandria (5-11 September 1964 CE). The first Arab summit was held in Cairo on January 13 of the same year 1964 CE
The Royal Montazah Gardens are a group of fenced gardens
occupying an area of 370 acres in the Montazah neighborhood, east of
Alexandria in Egypt, and overlooking a bay known as the Montazah Bay and was
owned by the former royal family in Egypt. It is built in the Italian
Florentine style, as well as the Salamlek Palace, which has been turned into a
luxury hotel (Salamlik Palace) in addition to a casino. The park's gardens are
characterized by their antique trees and rare flowerbeds, where the groups of
plants and flowers spread in the gardens are taken care of.
But the park was renovated in the last period and its shape
was completely changed.

Al-Mamoura has a special cornice with an engineering design,

stars in the sky and enjoy listening to some music or songs of beautiful time
singers such as Umm Kulthum and Abdel Wahab, or cycling together. Family
members, in addition to the cleanliness of the beach, which makes the visitor
feel reassured when practicing swimming with his children.
As for the reason for calling "Al Mamoura Beach" by this name, some rumors indicated that the beach was deserted, but during the reign of King Farouk, after he built the Montazah Palace, which he then used to spend the summer vacation with his family in, the area was called "Al Mamoura", and since At that time, the beach was known by that name
